Opéra Garnier de Paris

Opéra Garnier de Paris. what a pearl of French Architecture this 19th Century building is! Said to be home to the fabled phantom of the opera, I longed to capture this opulent gem. I was the first in line at the opening, desperate to get the best of this place in a minimum amount of time.

At the main hall, the roof was painted by Marc Chagall in 1964 and the contrast with the rest of the architecture is so interesting. To read more, please chekc with Wikipedia

After 3 hours there, it was so packed that I left to get Les Galeries Lafayette, that I will share wiht you my images later between 2 trips 🙂 I do know it’s a short story abut this gem in Paris, however my images below are better than 1,000 words, don’t you think ?
