Photographer Thierry Dehove leverages Social Media and lands Cover shot of Condé Nast Traveler

May 28, 2010, Delray Beach, FL & Anguilla – As a veteran photographer, Thierry Dehove (www.thierrydehove.com) has captured the visual images of some of the world’s most beautiful destinations. As an expert in social media, he has grown a world-wide legion of fans who appreciate his artistry. The magazine’s cover for its June issue features a photo of a stunning villa in St. Martin taken by Dehove. Architecture and fashion in Florida with Candice DeVisser. This time, I photographed Candice in Mar Pietra, a truly unique and stunning home located in Delray Beach, Florida.

For this photo shoot, I had the privilege of working with Jule Guaglardi – Creative Director, Stylist, Photographer and Graphic Designer, like me. For this photo shooting, I have been using my strobes lights: Interfit EXD400 Softbox/Umbrella Kit.

Overall, we had an amazing day filled with artistic expression – visible through the Italian Renaissance home of Mar Pietra, through the gorgeous fashions, through the creative energy between Jule and myself, and finally through the beauty exuded by our lovely model, Candice.

	LENSES A list of all my “go-to” lenses. EF Lens. Having one of these is a must for any EOS camera system. From Wide-Angle, these lenses let you capture more by broadening the angle of view and increasing the depth of field bringing more area into focus to Telephoto, the longer focal lengths effectively compress the distance between the subject and camera to capture the details and the feeling of a far-off scene. 	SUPPORT & HEAD My professional photography studio equipment, Tripods, Monopod and panoramics head: My tripod is the Manfrotto 055CXPRO4 4-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod Legs. 	LIGHTING While the Canon 5D MarkIV shoots some spectacular low-light images, I still need a lighting kit and my professional photography studio equipment are: When I am traveling, I always bring with with my Canon Speedlite 580EX II, also have the Canon 430EX. I use the 580EX as Master and the Smith-Victor PG160S Wireless Mini Slave Flash as slave for portraits to replace studio lights. Learn more The best tool to add with your flash is Canon CP-E4 Compact Battery Pack, Speeds up flash recharge time to 1-2 seconds and increases the number of shots per battery set, learn more For my architectural images and modeling photo shooting, I have bought recently my first strobes lights: Interfit EXD400 Softbox/Umbrella Kit, includes two 400 watt/second mono lights with reflectors, a 36" translucent umbrella, 24" square softbox, 8′ air cushioned light stands, power and sync cords. Easy to set up and not so heavy to carry, does a job for the affordable price. Just got for models, the Lastolite Ezybox Hot Shoe Softbox is designed to fit most manufacturers’ hot shoe, tilt-head flashes.
	MEDIA & COMPUTING I am "Mac" addict since 25 years. My main Apple at home is Apple 21.5" iMac Desktop Computer, I have also Apple 30" Cinema HD Display – 30" Flat Panel LCD Computer Monitor that I love, it’s plug to my Imac and it’s the perfect "weapons" for my editing. Learn more Recently I have bought the last Apple 15.4" MacBook Pro Notebook Computer for my long trips, small, light and super fast, he is my second hand. Learn more At home, for my back up, I have a "battery" of external hard drive, have 6 x LaCie 2TB d2 Quadra Hard Drive and recently buy the Western Digital 3TB My Book Essential External Desktop Hard Drive, so far I am happy with it, very cheap.
